Wadi Rum sous les Etoiles is a friendship story that started right here, in the desert...
Bader, born in Wadi Rum, descendant of a bedouin family, and Fabrice, passionate about trips and in love with Wadi Rum. Both motivated by the same wish : offer the best desert experience, under the stars!
Bader and I do not want to hear about camps! Our goal is to have you discover the desert immersed in nature, thus sleeping under the stars in natural caves. If you stay several days, you will have the chance to spend time in different caves! And you will see that there is no better place to be! Far better than a 5* hotel, because you will have millions of stars above your head! The numerous camps that settled in Wadi Rum disfigure the desert, and do not male it possible to discover it the right way. Bader, descendant of a bedouin family passionnate about this unique place, makes the commitment to bring you to exceptionnal places during your tours, far away from crowds, so that you can feel and love the desert.
Wadi Rum (or Wadi Ramm) is a desert with canyons, natural arches, cliffs and caves. It is located in the South of Jordan and was declared part of the World heritage in 2011 as a mixed natural and cultural heritage. The site is also called Iram in Nabatean texts (ancient civilizatiion that built Petra among other things). Drawings, carved inscriptions and archeological vestiges testify 120 centuries of human presence. Wadi Rum harbors rare and andemic fauna and flora. Small populations of Nubie ibexes, grey wolves, Blandord foxes, red foxes live there as well as the fugitive sand cat, that you may observe during your stay if you are lucky. Samll mammals, insects and reptiles are more common. Numerous prey birds can be seen during migration periods.

There are now direct flights to Aqaba, a city located along the Red sea, near the Israelian border. From there, count 1 hour by car to the Wadi Rum entrance (Visitor Center).
There is also a daily direct bus that leaves between 11am and noon from Aqaba. But it is also very easy to take any bus driving to the North and ask to get dropped off at the main crossroad that leads to Wadi Rum. From there, there are 20 km to the Visitor Center (28 km to Wadi Rum Village), and this may be done by hitch-hiking. But we can also come and pick you up, either in Aqaba (with the most economical rate you can get there), or at the Visitor Center, do not hesitate to ask us!
From Petra : a minibus leaves in Wadi Musa around 6am to Wadi Rum. It is also possible to take a bus to Aqaba, ask to get dropped off at the main crossroad that leads to Wadi Rum and carry on by hitch-hiking. But there again, we can come and pick you up if necessary, do not hesitate to ask us!
We can also pick you up in other places if you need (Eilat, Petra, Amman, etc...). Just let us know where and when and we will organize the journey without you having to look for a taxi and compare the prices (best price guaranted!).
It is better to arrive in the morning, to have time to get an entry ticket (5JD) at the Visitor Center, enjoy the activities with us during the day and spend the night in a cave, a moment that will remain forever in your memory! However, may you have specific constraints, we will be there to help you and make your stay as convenient as possible!
